Roles follow actual work

An editor for one brand does not need to see every other brand’s information. A contact editor does not need domain settings or design controls. Permissions are defined by action and scope: read, edit, approve and publish, for a selected site or shared records.

Preview before publishing

Changing a shared field may affect several destinations. A preview shows the affected websites and the resulting presentation before content goes public. Approval stages are added where responsibility and editor count justify them.

Know what a rollback restores

Content history and server backups solve different problems. One restores an incorrect edit; the other helps recover a system. Together, we define what can be restored, who performs it and how the result is checked.

Access changes without interrupting work

Accounts are individual. When someone stops editing, their access can be removed without changing a password for everybody. The owner retains the information, domains and agreed documentation.
